St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary wins Steve Mavers Award

St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School in Clinton shared word of it winning the Steve Mavers Award for the 2023 LUSO Community Services Stop Racism Video Contest.

The Anti-Racism and Culture Club, alongside the Drama Club, under the direction of Ms. Crystal Brennan-Yeo, created the video to highlight how students there use their voices to stop racism & discrimination.

The award recognizes a submission that strongly exhibits the areas of inclusivity, community building and an opportunity for continued learning.

It is named after a valued member of the LUSO community who passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 55.
