The County of Huron announced it has seen its most recent intake of the Starter Company Plus Program have 6 local businesses complete the program and obtain grant funding totaling $15,000.
Director of Economic Development Vicki Lass said that completion of the program represents significant hard work and commitment, immense creativity, and a true entrepreneurial spirit.
It means they have completed a 12 weeks training program, completed a business plan, a SWOT and cash flow analysis, and presented a business pitch to the Grant Review Committee.
The 6 recipients of funding were B Creative Prints, Frames and Designs Inc., Boundary Roasting Company, Duck Duck Juice and Gym, Hopewell Counselling, TM Marketing Solutions and WeR Strategic.
Enrollment in the next intake of the program is set to open July 2023.
