This Sunday will see the community come together and do their part in cleaning up Station Beach in Kincardine.
Taking place from 1:30-2:30pm, all are welcome to come out and clean the beach following another busy summer season.
The cleanup is being put on by the Huron Fringe Field Naturalists and supported by the Lake Huron Coastal Centre.
Andrew Evans who’s helping organize the event says he felt the need to do his part to keep onto the beauty of Lake Huron.
“We spend a lot of time at the beach its beautiful, Lake Huron is immaculate, the sunsets are some of the best. I just felt compelled to do my part, I want to make this town and the beach as beautiful as possible for everyone to enjoy. ‘ said Evans.
Those interested in helping out are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear, work gloves and bring a bucket or bag to help clean.
