Steve and Mary’s On the Square in Goderich has been named as the 2024 Egg Master as named by the Egg Famers of Ontario.
The Egg Master competition see’s a series of local restaurants take part in the 6 week contest where customers visit one of the 40 restaurants who were involved and order an egg dish any kind and vote for the restaurant.
Steve and Marys came out on top with the most votes in the competition to win the crown.
Steve Bruce, Owner of Steve and Marys on the Square was overwhelmed with the support from locals and his staff.
“Kudos to all of our staff, the cooks and servers, having the engagement with our customers and driving the fun aspect of a contest like this. It’s not just about the food its about the atmosphere and the anticipation of who’s going to win. We brought the title back to Huron County!” said Bruce.
Bruce added its great being able to source as much local product they can to support agriculture and are always looking to continue to source more local ingredients.
