A theft in Goderich has resulted in charges against two people.
On January 7th at around 8pm, Huron County OPP were contacted by a Goderich retail store of a theft which had taken place with the suspect vehicle being given to police.
Officers patrolled the area who then received a report of the same vehicle parked on Huron Road near Seaforth.
Police located the vehicle and suspects where it was learned the vehicle was stolen from London.
A 28 year old man from London has been charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000 and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon with a 35 year old man also of London charged with Theft Under $5000, Obstructing an Officer and three counts of Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
Both were held in custody for a court appearance and then remanded into custody.
