The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has announced the tree removal project at Stoney Island Conservation Area in Kincardine has wrapped up.
The work to remove ash trees at the 98 acre area started in August this year.
While the project has changed the area, the SVCA has already kicked off their next phase with trail and forest remediation.
Starting next spring, the conservation authority will hold a public tree planting event with the public.
Details on the event will be shared closer to the date.
