Sudden Death Incident in Owen Sound on July 7th Deemed Homicide

Police were called to a residence on 2nd Avenue East on Friday, July 7th just before noon where they discovered 47-year-old Terry Albert Hull of Toronto deceased.

The Owen Sound Police and the Grey Bruce OPP have advised that, as a result of the post-mortem examination, the sudden death in Owen Sound has been deemed a homicide.

Police were called to a residence on 2nd Avenue East on Friday, July 7th just before noon.

Once there they discovered a deceased 47-year-old male at the home.

The deceased has been identified as Terry Albert Hull of Toronto.

The homicide investigation is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and involves members of the Owen Sound Police, OSPS Crime Unit, OPP West Region Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Service and the Regional Support Team in conjunction with the Chief Corner of Ontario and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.

Investigators believe it is an isolated incident and do not believe there is a concern for public safety.
