The Ontario Superior Court has granted an interim injunction against protestors present in Ottawa against honking their horns.

In the decision Justice Hugh McLean said that tooting a horn is not an expression of any great thought he’s aware of.

The request for an injunction came out of the proposed class action lawsuit filed with the Court on Friday on behalf of a 21 year old public servant.

The injunction prohibits the protestors, or any other participate in the event, from using vehicle horns in the downtown area.

The judge also stated that while those taking part in the protest have a right to do so, taking their ability to honk away would not rob them of that right.
