South Bruce OPP have charged a 41-year-old of Chatsworth Township after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle in Walkerton last Saturday morning around 10:14 am.
Officers located the vehicle and found the driver displaying signs of impairment.
They were placed under arrest.
The male faces charges of impaired operation, possession of a controlled substance, of a prohibited device as well as failure to comply with a release order.
The accused is set to appear at a future court date to answer to the charges.
The impaired charge carries a 90-day license suspension and a vehicle impoundment of a week.
