The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority is celebrating 75 years of conservation.
First established on March 16th, 1950, the SVCA has been dedicated to protecting and managing the watershed.
Today the conservation authority stewards 21,000 acres of natural spaces, helping to mitigate flooding, reduce erosion and enhance watershed health.
The work extends across 4675 square kilometers, supporting sustainable development protecting drinking water sources and fostering public engagement through recreation and conservation initiatives.
