The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority says due to lightning striking their administrative office in Formosa, the office will be closed.

The building was empty at the time it was hit and no injuries were reported and there was no fire from the strike.

The building did however face electrical damage and is being assessed to determine the extent and when it could reopen.

Staff who work at the building for the time being will be working remotely.
