The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch in West Grey for the Main Suageen River and Tributaries.
Lake effect snow squalls in the last few days has seen a large amount of slush in the Main Saugeen River.
This has caused a partial blockage of the channel between the Durham Upper Dam and Durham Middle Dam causing water levels to increase below McGowan Falls.
The flood watch has been issued as there is increased likelihood of flooding in specific areas of West Grey.
The Durham Upper Dam walkway and trail between the Upper Dam and Middle Dam are closed for safety.
