The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has kept its flood outlook statement in effect which will last until Sunday.

While the majority of the remnants of Hurricane Beryl has passed, more showers are still expected throughout the day with total rainfalls seeing as much as 40-60mm across the watershed.

Before the rainfall stream flows were at or slightly below normal for this time of year.

The conservation authority says elevated water levels, fast flowing water and slippery conditions along watercourse banks are extremely dangerous and the public is reminded to stay away from watercourses and structures such as bridges, culverts and dams.
