OPP Tactical Officers assisted the South Bruce OPP after they were called to the scene of a break-in in Kincardine.
Officers were called to a residence along Concession 12 in Kincardine this morning at 5:30am on the report of a break-in.
Officers responded to the scene and were told suspects were still inside the residence.
Members of the West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Unit and Canine Unit attended the scene.
The house and outbuildings were checked but no one was found on the property.
Concession 12 was closed between Side Road 30 and Glen Cummings Road for public safety but has since reopened.
Police say it was an isolated incident with no threat to public safety.
