Lucknow Lancers are holding a teddy bear toss this Saturday in support of the Wingham Salvation Army’s Toy Drive and the Women’s Shelter in Goderich.
The team is asking for everyone to throw soft toys or bagged clothing donations on the ice after the Lancers first goal against the Minto 81’s.
That won’t be the final time the ice at the Lucknow Sports Complex is bombarded with items, as there will be a kids chuck a puck during the second intermission.
There’s also going to be door prizes, draws and the Lucknow Legends will be collecting canned food items for the North Huron Food Bank.
Kids get in for free and all attendees are encouraged to wear ugly Christmas sweaters. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
