Teen charged with Careless Driving after Two-Vehicle Crash in Brockton Tuesday morning

The 17-year-old was charged with careless driving, while under suspension, without insurance and unauthorized use of plates.

The South Bruce OPP have charged a 17-year-old driver of Brockton with careless driving after a two-vehicle collision in Brockton Tuesday morning.

Officers, Walkerton Fire and Bruce County EMS responded to Greenock-Brant Line and Chepstow Road around 8:45  on January 10th to find one vehicle on its side and a hydro pole broken.

The driver had to be extricated from their vehicle.

The 17-year-old was charged with careless driving, while under suspension, without insurance and unauthorized use of plates.

Both drivers were taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with info on the incident is asked to contact the OPP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
