The Teeswater Medical Centre Development Steering Committee provided an update on the progress they have made in the nearly 2 year process of getting a new, fully accessible and modern medical centre to the community.
The Committee recently purchased, with the support of Council, a facility that will be renovated into the new medical centre as well as the adjacent land for parking or further development.
The Committee says they have done extensive research and reviewed a number of aspects of the operation of the future centre, including layout, design, required equipment, potentially opportunities for public-private partnerships and the most efficient methods of operation.
