Teeswater Medical Centre sees $50,000 donation from OPG

The Teeswater Medical Centre announced a generous donation recently from Ontario Power Generation.

The Diamond Sponsorship of $50,000 is in support of the Steering Committee’s work over the last few years to bring a new, fully accessible, modern medical centre to the community of Teeswater & surrounding area.

South Bruce Mayor Mark Goetz speaks to the importance of having medical care where you need it.

“We have residents that get pulled to Hanover Hospital, we get residents go to the Walkerton Hospital and also to North Huron in Wingham.”

OPG joins a list of other Diamond sponsors who have donated $50,000 or more including Bruce Power, Kinectrics, the Municipality of South Bruce, Teeswater Concrete, Kinsmen, and Pharmacy, the 2019 Teeswater Culross Old Boys & Girls Reunion, David & Joyce Ireland, Nancy MacDonald Exel and NWMO – Near Term Investment.
