The Avon Maitland District School Board and Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation have reached a tentative collective agreement.
Contract details will remain confidential until both parties complete their respective ratification processes.
Laura Marotta, Superintendent of Human Resource Services says reaching these agreements exemplifies the boards commitment to fostering an environment that values and prioritizes the invaluable contributions of their team towards enhancing student outcomes.
During the negotiation process, all parties maintained the spirit of mutual respect and cooperation, reaching a goal of advancing outcomes for all AMDSB students.
The agreement is expected to affect nearly 1000 employees.
