The United Way Perth Huron issued a press release today reminding residents that this Friday, February 11th is 211 Day.
It is a day set aside to highlight the community information service linking people to local programs and services at a time of need.
The service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year in over 150 languages.
United Way Perth Huron Director of Resource Development and Communications Susan Faber says that everyone needs a helping hand sometimes and adds when your call is answered someone with a thorough knowledge of local and services will help guide them with compassion and care.
