Lisa Thompson is going after her fourth consecutive term as MPP in Huron Bruce.

The Progressive Conservative candidate says she has been out campaigning since the writ officially dropped last week.

Thompson says a PC government under the leadership of Doug Ford will put Ontario back on top.

A number of voters across Ontario have expressed disappointment in the Ford government over its handling of the pandemic.

But Thompson says with the help of residents, they were able to keep hospitals from exceeding capacity and that has allowed the province to stay open for business.

Four challengers are looking to unseat Thompson on June 2nd: the Liberal’s Shelley Blackmore, Laurie Hazzard of the NDP, the Green Party’s Matthew Van Ankum, and Matt Kennedy of the New Blue Party.
