A tow operator has been injured who had previously helped the person who struck them.
On December 4th just before 5:30pm, Huron County OPP and Huron County Paramedics responded to a truck and pedestrian crash on Airport Line between Huron Street and Thames Road East in South Huron.
Police learned the tow operator had taken the suspect vehicle out from the ditch earlier and while waiting for payment the driver sped off, hitting the tow operators where they launched into the ditch.
The operator was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
OPP have identified the vehicle and driver with charges anticipated.
