Traffic Stop Leads to Possession Charges

A 45 year old is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop.

On April 8th at around 6:07pm, South Bruce OPP stopped to check a vehicle on Highway 21 in Kincardine.

While speaking with the driver it was determined they were impaired.

A search also found around 40g of suspected cocaine.

On April 9th a search warrant was executed in relation to the matter at an address in Kincardine.

As a result a 45 year old man of Kincardine was charged with Operation while Impaired, Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Careless Driving and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking.

The accused was held for bail and later remanded into custody.
