Donald Trump has become the first former United States President to be convicted on felony crimes after a New York jury found him guilty on all 34 charges through a hush money trial to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Trump was found guilty on falsifying business records to keep payments to Daniels a secret during the 2016 election.
Judge Juan M. Merchan set the sentencing for July 11th just two days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee where its still expected the Republican Party to formally make Trump their nominee for the Presidential Race later this year.
The conviction and even if it were to result in prison time will not prevent Trump from continuing to run his campaign for President.
