Two charged for break and enter in South Bruce Peninsula

Two South Bruce Peninsula men have been charged with breaking and entering after getting caught in an abandoned building yesterday.

On Jan. 2, at approximately 9 p.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report of noises coming from a property in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Police say officers confirmed the noises and entered, finding the two accused individuals inside attempting to steal various items.

The Grey Bruce OPP arrested and charged a 27-year-old and a 62-year-old with mischief under $5,000 along with breaking and entering.

Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
