The Huron County OPP investigated two smash & grabs that took place this past weekend in Goderich.
On Saturday night at around 10:49 pm forced entry was made to a business on Huron Road. Officers arrived and found cigarettes, cigars, drinks and candy had been stolen.
A 46 year old male of no fixed address was located and charged after review of video surveillance.
Then on Sunday at around 11:50 pm forced entry was made to a business on Bayfield Road.
Officers discovered the same items had been stolen and charged the same 46-year old male of no fixed address after review of video surveillance.
Upon arrest a search was conducted and also resulted in possession of meth & opioid charges.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is currently in custody.
