Two-Vehicle Collision in Bruce Township results in Passenger Airlifted to Hospital

Colllision near Bruce County Road 20 and Bruce Road 1 just after noon saw passenger in vehicle that collided with transport airlifted to hospital.

The South Bruce OPP were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bruce County Road 20 and Bruce Road 1 in Bruce Township just after noon on Wednesday.

Officers, along with Paisley Fire and Bruce County EMS arrived to find a passenger vehicle and a transport had been involved in a collision.

The vehicle’s passenger was flown to Hamilton by Ornge for treatment for serious injuries.

The vehicle driver was taken to local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The transport driver reported no injuries at the scene.

The intersection was closed at the scene of the crash for the protection of emergency responders. Both have since reopened to traffic.

The investigation is in its early stages with updates to be provided by police as they become available.
