Unifor released an announcement this afternoon that a tentative agreement has been reached between School Bus Drivers represented by Local 4268 and First Student Owen Sound, Kincardine and Port Elgin.
The new tentative agreement covers 155 drivers, two mechanic apprentices and one bus monitor in the Kincardine and Port Elgin area.
Unifor National President Lana Payne said in the statement that the negotiations were protracted and thanked the bargaining committee for their dedication in securing a tentative agreement for their members.
The drivers service the Bluewater & Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, as well as an employee shuttle for Bruce Power.
