United Way Perth Huron has launched a new campaign to highlighting the rising housing cost.
The Social Research & Planning Council is launching its Speak Up for Housing campaign to highlight the impact of housing costs of families and individuals across the region.
A webpage has launched to focus on local efforts to make housing more affordable as well as information on what different levels of government can do about housing.
Director Community Impact and Research Kristin Crane says the insight they heard from participants in a survey showed the dramatic wide ranging way housing costs have affected the region.
The campaign opens up to allow United Way to share stories and inspire action.
