United Way Launching Workshops to Support Low Income Seniors

United Way Bruce Grey and the Bruce Grey Poverty Tax Force is launching financial literacy workshops aimed to support low income seniors.

United Way along with community partners are offering these webinars to help older adults understand and navigate under a retirement income.

These sessions are designed for those aged 45-65 particularly those on a low or moderate income as well as navigating programs such as Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program.

Each session is broken down including what seniors get, income tax systems and the financial reality for low income seniors.

Registration is required for each session with the first starting May 8th.
