United Way Perth-Huron will be holding their coming Kickoff Celebration next month to announce their campaign goal for the year.
The kickoff will take place on September 11 from 1-4 p.m. in Wingham at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex.
The kickoff will feature local musicians, a vendor fair and a BBQ with the Wingham Air Cadets.
Lisa Harper says the support they’ve gotten across North Huron has been incredibly.
“We’ve had so much support throughout the Northern Huron area, it’s been really incredible. So many businesses, organizations are on board sponsoring the event and throughout the years.” said Harper.
Harper says they’re are keeping as busy as possible with United Way, planning the North Huron Connection Centre that they hope to have open in mid-November to early December.
United Way is also planning out their Coldest Night of the Year with more plans to be announced soon.
