As United Way Perth-Huron is getting closer to its campaign kick off, support for other campaigns has already been seen.

In a release, the campaign for the Northern Huron Connection Centre received a $10,000 donation towards the centre from Co-Operators Brett W Lammie & Associates Inc.

The connection centre which has plans to be ready in Wingham by mid-November or December is similar to HOPE Links in Listowel.

The Centre will offer a meal, use of shower and laundry facilities and give support to those in need.

United Way is holding their kickoff campaign on September 11 from 1-4 p.m. in Wingham at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex.
