United Way Bruce Grey is reminding residents to file their taxes as it can help unlock financial support, especially for those on a low income.
This month has been one full of government benefits and credits to help cover the cost of everyday essentials such as food, housing and raising a family.
Most federal and provincial benefits require an up to date tax return to determine eligibility.

Benefits include the Canada Groceries and Essentials, Canada Workers, Ontario Trillium and the Canada Child Benefit.
