Tax season is upon us and United Way Perth Huron’s Social Research and Planning Council is reminding residents have access to tax services as they look to shine a light on getting equitable tax services.
Kristin Crane, United Way Director of Community Impact and Research says 10-12 per cent of Canadians don’t file their taxes and it can leave some to not get the refunds and benefits they are entitled to.
United Way says there are multiple local free tax clinics for seniors, newcomers students and more. To learn more about what clinics are available you can dial 211.
