US President Donald Trump was dealt a blow yesterday with a resolution to undo his 25 percent tariffs on Canadian imports passing the Senate.
The resolution saw 4 Republic Senators cross the floor to result in a 51 to 48 vote.
The gesture is unfortunately symbolic as the Senate cannot force the move into law.
Supporting the Democrats were Republican Senators Rand Paul from Kentucky, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitch McConnell for Kentucky.
