The 7th Edition of the $15,000 Vic Hayter Memorial Invitational Trot is set for this Sunday at the Clinton Raceway.
The event was able to be held last year but was delayed until August and saw a restricted crowd for the event with some 700 in attendance.
The year before saw the event held with no fans in attendance.
Vic Hayter is known for owning many hotels in his lifetime but likely none greater than the Arden Park Hotel and Festival Inn in Stratford.
He passed away in February 2016 at the age of 77.
He always made time for the Clinton Raceway and owned standardbreds for 38 years.
The Memorial event begins at 1:30 pm on August 7th.
