Saugeen Shores Police have arrested a 31 year old after an assault in Port Elgin.
On January 19th police responded to a report of an assault where it was found a man was sprayed with what is believed to be pepper spray.
The suspect was identified and a warrant made for his arrest.
On January 27th the 31 year old man of Saugeen Shores was arrested who was found with syringes, a metal baton, gloves, rope and metal handcuffs.
The accused has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
The accused was remanded into custody.
