The Walkerton Capitals congratulated their GM, Steve Barrett, on his retirement from junior hockey after over 20 years.
They say Steve has been an instrumental part of junior hockey in Walkerton and provided immense contributions to the team and the sport of hockey locally.
They say he worked hard to build a team of professionals who shared his vision for excellence both on and off the ice and provided necessary guidance throughout their transition to the Capitals this past season.
The traits led to numerous accomplishments, successes, and friendships during his tenure.
