The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation shared word it was proud to forward $1.017 million dollars to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre’s Walkerton Hospital for its 2022/23 fiscal year capital commitments.
This year they said, rather than focusing on one department or one specific piece of equipment, the Foundation purchased over 40 pieces of equipment for several departments across the hospital.
They includes an anesthetic machine, colonoscope & gastroscope for the operating room, patient beds for the acute care unit, bassinets and a baby warmer for the family birthing centre and more.
The Foundation said a big Thank You to everyone who contributed to the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation over the past year in any way.
They say because of them, they were able to support the hospital in the purchase of these vital pieces of equipment.
