Bruce County is holding its next Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on September 14th, this time heading over to Walkerton at the Bruce County Transportation Yard.
The event will run from 8am-1pm with residents being encouraged to attend to remove any hazardous waste materials from their home, garages, basements and more to dispose them in an environmentally safe manner.
Items accepted includes propane, paints and stains, antifreeze, oil filters, fuel, pesticides and fire extinguishers.
Commercial, agricultural and industrial waste, ammunition and flares will not be accepted.
