The Saugeen Shores Police Service updated area residents this afternoon of the arrest of a wanted 33-year-old male this morning around 10:30 am.
Officers were actively seeking him and located him hiding in a Port Elgin residence.
He has been charged with 3 counts of failure to comply with a probation order and 2 counts each of breaking and entering and theft of a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest, theft under $5,000, possession of proceeds of crime and break and enter instruments, illicit cannabis, and causing a disturbance.
He is currently being held pending a bail hearing.
