The South Bruce OPP have charged a Waterloo Region driver after they were clocked going over 110 km in a 70 zone in Elderslie Township.
Officers were on patrol last Monday at around 7:12 pm when they noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed.
After stopping the vehicle the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.
They were placed under arrest and taken in for further testing.
A 59-year-old male faces impaired operation over 80 mg and speeding.
They have been released and are scheduled to appear before a court in Walkerton to answer to the charge.
Their license was been suspended for 90 days and their vehicle for 7.
