The Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce has put an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant to good use, supporting the Everyone Belongs Pilot initiative.
Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Paul Vickers met with representatives from the WCGB at the Harmony Centre to see how the year long grant of $84,500 has been used to support the initiative which is designed to strengthen inclusion, connection and advancing belonging across Grey-Bruce.
Everyone Belongs is creating welcoming spaces through storytelling, cultural exchange and community dialogue.
Funds from the grant are being used to help with some staffing, honoraria and administrative costs.
