West Grey Council decides to maintain West Grey Police Service with Unanimous Vote

The Municipality of West Grey made the decision at its Special Meeting of Council this afternoon to maintain its  West Grey Police Service with a unanimous 7 to 0 vote.

The Council received a presentation from Chad Lins of MNP of a Study and Analysis of Police Services.

In the report elements such as the Local Services  Models, Minimum Service Standards and offers shift structure were compared with the OPP model.

Stakeholder feedback was found to be very positive related to the police survey currently provided.
