West Grey & the Ontario Provincial Police have identified the deceased after a Homicide in West Grey.
Kodie Hearsum, 34 years of age is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 62-year-old Brett Douglas Hearsum of West Grey.
The accused remains in custody.
The investigation began on July 15th following a shooting incident on Grey Road 4 in the Township of West Grey, and the discovery of a deceased individual in the Walters Falls area in the Township of Chatsworth.
The investigation is ongoing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
Police are still looking to speak with anyone that may have any information regarding this investigation.
