The Wingham Rail Trail Bridge has reopened after the trail committee was able to get repairs done over the weekend.
The bridge was closed last week after damage to the bridge west of Josephine Street where it was seen sections of railing being broken and cut, making it unsafe for public use.
Following an inspection on Monday, the bridge was able to be reopened with signs and barricades being removed Monday morning.
The township has sent their thanks to the volunteers for their efforts.
