The Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey has gotten a boost from the co-operators in a sponsorship of $30,000 for the Youth Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking Program.

The program is aimed to enhance safety, awareness and recovery support for youth aged 10-24 impacted by sexual exploitation or human trafficking across rural and urban communities in Bruce and Grey.

The sponsorship will allow Women’s House to increase youth access to trauma informed crisis intervention, provide targeted education and prevention programming in schools, shelters and community settings and support youth, sexual assault and human trafficking survivors through legal, medical and recovery processes, reducing barrier to justice and healing.
