Women’s House serving Bruce & Grey County held a Volunteer & Donor Appreciation event on Wednesday at Dunsmore Park in Kincardine.
Organizers say the weather cooperated to allow a beautiful day for the outdoor event where everyone enjoyed mingling & refreshments while donors & volunteers were celebrated.
Key to the festivities was a presentation on the Backyard makeover at the facility that was undertaken by volunteers & donors.
Michelle Lamot, Community & Fund Development Coordinator for Women’s House said in the release that sponsor support is critical to meeting the demand, while maintaining & enhancing the level of service that they are able to provide to their community.
Women’s House is a facility that provides a safe haven for victims & survivors of domestic violence.
