Women’s House serving Bruce and Grey shared a reminder that tomorrow, February 22nd is Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
They say its more than a national movement to condemn it, but also its about education, prevention and investment in survivor focused supports.
They say human trafficking is more than crossing borders or physically moving person and involves luring, moving or holding victoms to exploit them for profit, usually for sexual reasons or forced labour.
