Work is set to resume to expand natural gas service to areas in Southern Bruce County.

EPCOR issued a news release saying that along with construction partner AECON, they will be working through the construction season to bring natural gas to customers who have signed up for service.

They say construction is underway in Point Clark, Inverhuron, and Chesley with work to begin soon in Lurgan Beach and Paisley.

Work will recommence in Kincardine and Lucknow in July, in Ripley in August, and Tiverton will begin this November.

They say in order to ensure work is done safely, crews will be going around identifying underground utility lines which could result in driveways, landscaping, and sidewalks being impacted.

EPCOR says all affected areas will be restored.
